A World of Imagination: The Magic Carpet
<p>4 to 17 October, Aspiration Street, Auroville</p><p>Art, imagination and playful experimentation come together in The Magic Carpet, a creative exhibition celebrating the possibilities of making things by hand.</p><p>Presented by Gallery Maji and the Women Builder Collective, this Tiny Artist Project invites visitors to explore creativity through materials, textures and unexpected forms. Curated by Supriya Menon Meneghetti, the exhibition shares a space with Maroma and Maji on Aspiration Street.</p><p>Alongside the exhibition, hands-on workshops invite participants to experience the pleasure of creating. Waste-fabric art sessions explore new possibilities for discarded textiles, while Dorodango workshops introduce the Japanese art of transforming earth into beautifully polished spheres.</p><p>The exhibition runs from 4 to 17 October, daily from 9am to 5pm. The opening was at 4.30pm on 3 October. Waste-fabric workshops take place on 11 and 18 October, Sundays from 10am to 12pm.
